It’s my turn now… I think I’ll do my blogs on Saturday, hopefully will do more when I get a chance. //Dave

I’ve spent the last week installing the kitchen, putting together
IKEA cabinets, and feverishly putting together the last minute details
for the students staying at Villa Los Grillos.  (with the help of
Rebecca and some of our friends here, of course.)  A nice thing about
Spain are the coffee breaks:  the ladies set out an amazing spread of
coffee, hot chocolate, steaming milk, cakes, bread, butter; all work
stops; and then we sit down to enjoy.  But the amazing thing about
Villa Los Grillos is that it is truly international-around the table
people are talking English, Spanish, Portugese, and even Swedish.  At
one point, someone noted that around the table, we had 9 different
nationalities: American, Brazilian, Argentinian, Chilean, Peruvian,
Angolan, Swedish, British (from England and Gibraltar), and Nigerian!

A Multi-National Nation!We’ve
often talked about the 42nd generation being a “multi-generational”
generation: we want to bring together youth, young adults, families,
and “boomers,” anyone who wants to spread the Message of God’s love and
grace to the 4 corners of the world.  But we forget about how this
growing community of believers will bring together a Multi-national
Nation!  As the kingdom spreads, we are going to bring together people
of different colors, backgrounds, languages, and nations-all brothers
and sisters, part of a large family.  And the one thing that binds us
is the willingness to open up to each other, share our burdens, and
proclaim the victory and salvation of Jesus Christ!   The base that we
are starting here in Spain is already showing the fruit of community,
of love, and of friendship-people being real and allowing God to work
in our lives.
