First let mejust say that Ihadsesame street on my computer for Ben and he got excited and rippedup my space bar…hence every other wordwillprobably be connected to the next!
Anyway, we are here in Mijas. We arrived last week (thurs) with our8 huge bags, 4 little suitcases, 4 carry-ons, 3 car seats, 1pack-n-play and 1stroller!! Amazingly,it all arrived and no problems with customs and the 12 bottlesof Target brand infant tylenol I had packed!
Thankfully we were met by the localpastor Juanito, with whomwe are going to be working with as far as using someof hisfacilities for the training academy. He was brilliant and brought Daniel and his car so we could all get here.
We set straight in to get our national I.D numbers, without which you can’t get a cell phone,bank account, car…..pretty much anything except a cafe conleche and a nice Spanish loaf of crusty bread. Which,since we are a carbo-loving family, we are just fine;o)
We have been looking for an apartment,and it is fun to see it all through the kids eyes. Gone are the big spacious American homes, with drive ways and toilets everywhere. Emma is now concernedher bed might not fit in any ofthe rooms :o) But they are really doing welland loving the experienceof looking.
Once we get our numbers, we will get the girls in thelocal school. They need it,and since I have always homeschooled them, it will be a huge change for them, but we are expecting a little miracle and God placing just the right friendin each one’s class.

It is a whole newexperience, but an exciting one. It is going to be a fantastic place to be, surroundedby the costa-del-sol, glorious mountains and most “cool-ly” totally soldout people,living life to the full making a mark in the world and leaving a legacy. I can’t wait to get an apartment and for the students to get here so we can hang out, have fun,affect our town, eat,drink and be merry and invite the neighbours to hang with us.
